Must Watch Video: Obama Too Cool to Rule

April 26, 2012 at 1:04 pm (American Crossroads, Cool, Debt, Deficit, Economy, Jimmy Fallon, President Obama, Unemployment)

American Crossroads asks this simple question:

“After four years of a celebrity president, is your life any better?”

Their latest video effort destroys the myth that Obama’s cool rockstar persona is a good thing.

The description of the video (which can be seen below) reads:

Obama slow jams with Jimmy Fallon and calls Kanye West a “jackass.” He also owns an economy where 50% of recent college grads are unemployed or underemployed, and 85% have to move in with their parents. Has four years of a pop culture POTUS made anyone’s life any better?

The fact is, Obama is cool much in the same way that the dude with the mullet, leather jacket, and pack of cigarettes was back in high school.

Everyone in school thought he was great until they realized he was six years into a four year education.

Enjoy!

Authorities Warn of ‘Lone Wolf’ Threat on Anniversary of Bin Laden Death

April 26, 2012 at 11:00 am (Al Qaeda, Al Shabaab, Anniversary, FBI, Little Girl, Nidal Hasan, Osama Bin laden, Pakistan, Taliban, TSA)

And by lone wolf, we mean somebody fully integrated into the radical Islamic religion, may carry a business card stating that he/she is a ‘Soldier of Allah‘, and has continual correspondence with high-ranking overseas members of the Taliban.  Like that other famous ‘lone wolf’ Major Nidal Malik Hasan.  The important thing to remember here is that it will have nothing to do with radical Muslims. Nothing.

Via the New York Post:

Just days before the one-year anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death, US authorities are warning that while there is no specific, credible threat to the US homeland they remain concerned “lone wolf” terrorists could use the date to avenge the former al Qaeda leader.
In an intelligence bulletin issued late Wednesday, the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and US Northern Command note that terrorist groups such as al Shabaab in Somalia, northern Africa’s al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb and the Pakistani Taliban have called for revenge against the United States for killing bin Laden during the May 1, 2011 raid on his hideout in Pakistan.
The bulletin says al Qaeda or its affiliates would view an attack “on this anniversary as a symbolic victory,” especially in the wake of losses suffered by al Qaeda through US drone attacks and other efforts overseas.
In addition, according to the bulletin, authorities remain concerned that so-called “lone wolf” extremists not already identified “will execute attacks with little or no warning on or about the anniversary of bin Laden’s death.”

Meanwhile, the TSA is doing everything in their power to hunt down these lone wolf suspects, issuing bulletins for citizens to be on the lookout for these extremists:

Reminder: Extremist House Democrats Guilty of Cold-Blooded Murder…

April 26, 2012 at 9:43 am (Bret Baier, Budget, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Democrat, Extremism, Fox News, Obama, Republican)

… Of Obama’s Budget.

Sure that’s a bit of a shocking headline, but we learned over-the-top bombastic statements from the Democrats themselves – specifically, DNC Chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

DWS recently accused the Republicans of having “fully embraced extremism”.  So when Democrats last month reached across the aisle with their Republican counterparts to defeat President Obama’s budget by a vote of 414-0, it stands to reason that they were also ‘fully embracing extremism’.

Extremists as you know, have a propensity for violence, a willingness to kill.  In this case, it just happened to be the Obama budget proposal that fell victim to an attack by House member extremism.

So why provide this handy reminder for the radical left?

Because Debbie Wasserman Schultz seems to have already forgotten this case of budgetary violence in her extremist past.

Maggie Thurber points out that a little noticed aspect of an interview with Fox News Bret Baier, includes DWS placing blame for the strangling of Obama’s budget solely on the lap of Republicans.  Trying to pawn that vote off on Republicans appears to be blowing up in her face however.

As Thurber points out, Democrat extremists also took part in the murder…

Baier, noting that Democrats have gone out of their way to criticize the budget presented by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), said there was no Democrat budget on the table.

Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) objected stating that Pres. Barack Obama had submitted a budget. But Baier continued saying the President’s budget wasn’t being voted on.

“That’s right, because House Republicans voted it down,” she said.

EXCEPT….

The vote on Obama’s most recent budget was 414-0.

It wasn’t just House Republicans who voted it down – not a single Democrat voted for it, including Wasserman Schultz herself!

A statement addressing the budget vote from the Karen Harrington for Congress website adds:

Interestingly enough, and somewhat shocking, Obama’s Cheerleader-in-Chief, DNC Chair/Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was present for the vote, and voted a resounding ‘Nay’ to the measure.

Yes, you read correctly, Debbie voted against her boss’ budget.

Thurber asks, “Hypocrisy, lies, distortions …how does she live with herself?

It’s easy… when you’re extreme.

Dem: Unemployed Will Vote For Obama in Order to Keep Their Welfare Benefits

April 26, 2012 at 7:12 am (Al Sharpton, Benefits, Chaka Fattah, Democrat, Food Stamps, House Appropriations Commitee, President Obama, Unemployment, Welfare)

Maybe the unemployed should vote for Romney in order to have a shot at getting a paying job.

Via the Washington Examiner:

Rep. Chaka Fattah, D-Penn., explained last night how unemployment could actually encourage people to vote for President Obama in order to secure welfare benefits such as food stamps.
“Unemployment continues to drop and those people who are unemployed, they’re not going to be voting for the party who wants to cut their benefits — cut access to food stamps, cut job training,” Fattah, Senior Member of the House Appropriations Committee, told MSNBC’s Al Sharpton last night.

So, Obama ups the unemployment rate over 8%, watches 88 million people drop out of the workforce, and sits back as the votes roll in because those people no longer have to work to earn their money?

I’ve been wrong all along.  Obama is a genius.
