Candid Admission: Democrats Say PA Voter ID Law Could Cost Obama Election

July 25, 2012 at 4:13 pm (2012 Election, Charlie Rangel, DCCC, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Pennsylvania, President Obama, Racism, Sheila Jackson Lee, Voter Fraud, Voter ID, Voter ID Law)

What does it say about your party when doing things illegally (voting, citizenship) is perceived to be the only way to win elections?

Beltway Confidential:

Pennsylvania’s voter identification law could sink President Obama’s reelection campaign, according to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

“Pennsylvania’s new ‘voter I.D.’ law could literally decide the fate of President Obama’s re-election,” wrote DCCC field director Brynne Craig. “It’s not the first time that Republicans have tried to suppress the vote — but in an election this close, it could be the tipping point that delivers the Presidency to Mitt Romney.”

Allow me to serve as proofreader – the phrase ‘suppress the vote’ should have read ‘suppress the illegal vote’.  That one is free.

Anyway, the Dems can’t even use their usual talking point in Pennsylvania – that poor minority groups would be unable to attain the necessary ID – because it is free and can be obtained months ahead of the election.

The Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is creating a new voter ID card that is free for people without other forms of ID.

“As we work to ensure that Pennsylvanians have the identification they need to vote this fall, this new card will provide another photo ID option for voters,” Commonwealth Secretary Carol Aichele said earlier this week. “Everyone who needs ID to vote will be able to get it months before the election.”

The only way to interpret the statement that voter ID law could sink the President’s re-election bid, is that the Democrat party feels they need as many illegal votes as possible to have a chance.

This isn’t the first time Democrats have admitted to this.  In January, the Congressional Black Caucus had this to say:

The Congressional Black Caucus on Monday night took to the House floor to charge that voter ID laws popping up around the country are aimed at dissuading minority voters from voting, and making it harder for President Obama to win re-election.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) added that supporters of these laws have made the “misrepresentation” that there was fraud in the 2008 election, “maybe because we elected the first African American president.”

Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) also drew a connection to these laws and Obama’s election, and said he’s not sure if the laws are being advanced due to “the color of the President” or because Obama “received record-breaking participation by the very same people that they’re making it difficult to vote.”

It takes tunnel vision for a person to believe that voter ID laws are racist or an act of minority suppression.

It takes a candid admission – albeit, inadvertently – to believe that proving your identity can only harm supporters of President Obama.

In short form – doing things legally is a detriment to the left.

Obama Continually Using His Daughters to Promote Abortion

July 25, 2012 at 11:00 am (Abortion, Birth Control, Choice, Daughters, Malia Obama, President Obama, Pro Abortion, Pro Life, Sasha Obama, War on Children)

“I think peoples families are off limits and people’s children are especially off limits.”

– Barack Obama, September 2008

Not so when it comes to arguing your pro-abortion stance.  After all, it was just days prior to the above statement that Obama said this:

“… I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”

The President continues to view childbirth as a punishment, using his daughters and possible future grandchildren as supporting arguments in the pro-abortion fight, and in reasoning for government funding of Planned Parenthood clinics.

Politico reports:

President Barack Obama got personal with his stump speech Tuesday.

“Mr. Romney wants to get rid of funding for Planned Parenthood. I think that’s a bad idea,” Obama said to about 950 donors at the Oregon Convention Center as he highlighted differences with Mitt Romney. “I’ve got two daughters. I want them to control their own health care choices.”

Politico is acting as if this is a new tactic, but the President has been using his own daughters in the War on Children consistently, citing children as economic hindrances to a better life (h/t LifeNews).

At a campaign event on May 23rd in California:

We certainly don’t need another political fight about ending a woman’s right to choose, or get rid of Planned Parenthood, or taking away affordable birth control.  (Applause.)  I want women to control their own health choices, just like I want my daughters to have the same opportunities as your sons.  We’re not turning back the clock.  We won’t do that.  (Applause.)

Another campaign event on the 23rd in Colorado:

We certainly don’t need another political fight about ending a woman’s right to choose, or get rid of Planned Parenthood, or taking away affordable birth control.  (Applause.)  I want women to control their own health choices, just like I want my daughters to have the same opportunities as your sons.  We’re not turning back the clock.  We won’t do that.  (Applause.)

At a campaign event on May 24th in Iowa:

We don’t need another political fight about ending a woman’s right to choose, or getting rid of Planned Parenthood — (applause) — or taking away affordable birth control.  We don’t need that.  (Applause.)  I want women to control their own health choices, just like I want my daughters to have the same economic opportunities as my sons.  We’re not turning back the clock.  (Applause.)  We’re not going back there.

Maryland, June 12th, 2012:

We don’t need another political fight about ending a woman’s right to choose, or getting rid of Planned Parenthood — (applause) — taking away access to affordable birth control.  I want women to control their own health choices, just like I want my daughters to have the same opportunities as your sons.  (Applause.)

And the list continues…

Using your daughters as political props when you’ve declared them off limits is tasteless, using them to promote the killing of unwanted children is reprehensible.

Coolest Virus Ever? Iran Hit With Worm That Turns Computers on and Blasts AC/DC’s Thunderstruck

July 25, 2012 at 9:00 am (AC/DC, Finland, Iran, Iranian Regime, Nuclear, Nuclear Program, Scientist, Thunderstruck, Virus)

These computer geeks were metal, before metal was cool.

Several Iranian nuclear facilities have reportedly been hit with a virus that turns their workstation computers on in the middle of the night, transforming them into a personal AC/DC concert, pumping out the song Thunderstruck through the speakers at full volume.

Mediaite reports:

The news came from a chief research officer at a computer security firm in Finland, who said he recently received several e-mails from an Iranian scientist.

“I am writing you to inform you that our nuclear program has once again been compromised and attacked by a new worm with exploits which have shut down our automation network at Natanz and another facility Fordo near Qom.”

The Iranian scientist goes on to say that they believe the attackers used Metasploit, a common hacking tool which provides a variety of ways to penetrate supposedly secure networks. “There was also some music playing randomly on several of the workstations during the middle of the night with the volume maxed out,” says the scientist. “I believe it was playing ‘Thunderstruck’ by AC/DC.”

No one knows exactly who is responsible for the hack yet, but if whoever’s doing this is taking requests, do you know “Highway to Hell”?

For you youngins out there, this is the song in question…

You’ve been … Thunderstruck!
And you’re welcome.

Video: First Gay President Thanks Gay Porn King at Fundraiser

July 25, 2012 at 7:00 am (Campaign, Charles M. Holmes, First Gay President, Gay Marriage, Gay Porn, Gay Porn Kingpin, National Finance Committee, Oregon, President Obama, Ted Kulongowski, Terry Bean)

At a fundraiser last night, President Obama, whom the left has hailed as the ‘first gay President‘, praised a man known as a ‘gay porn kingpin‘ for organizing the event.

“I want to thank someone who put so much work into this event, Terry Bean,” President Obama said as the crowd began to cheer. “Give Terry a big round of applause.”

Terry Bean is, according to the New York Post, a “gay-porn kingpin.”

“ONE of the ‘bundlers’ who has raised $50,000 to $100,000 for the Barack Obama presidential campaign is Terrence Bean, who once controlled the biggest producer of gay porn in America,” the Post reported in 2008, during the president’s first run the office. “Bean, the first gay on Sen. Obama’s National Finance Committee, is the sole trustee of the Charles M. Holmes Foundation, which owned Falcon Studios, Jock Studios and Mustang Studios, the producers of about $10 million worth of all-male pornography a year.”

The New York Post reported in 2008 that Oregon Governor Ted Kulongowski returned a $15,000 donation from a company associated with Bean in an effort to avoid the “taint” of the porn connection.

The President however, is clearly not concerned about any ‘taint’.  He is shameless when it comes to campaign contributions, having exploited gay issues in the past for his own personal gain.  Within a week of announcing his gay marriage flip-flop for example, Obama was hawking ‘My Two Dads‘ onesies on his campaign wesbite.

Pandering is one thing.  Should the President of the United States really be courting the campaign prowess of a ‘gay porn kingpin’?  Is this not beneath the office?
