CO: Voter-fraud is no laughing matter.
by Jen Raiffie  (@jraiffie) |  October 25, 2012
If voter fraud is not already on your radar, it should be.
As November 6thapproaches, an increasing number of concerns continue to surface at early voting centers around America. Just yesterday James O’Keefe, the founder of Project Veritas, released a new shock video resulting from his latest voter fraud investigation that resulted in the resignation of Pat Moran, the field director and son of Virginia’s Democrat incumbent Congressmen James Moran, who is seeking reelection.  Pat was caught on tape talking about how to create fake documents that would allow ballots to be cast in other peoples’ names.
Just hours before this story broke I was contacted online by a Coloradoactivist named Kathi Barry who recently founded a new video tracking group called Chicks with Cameraz.  Kathi was concerned about a picture she had seen on Facebook of a van that had been photo shopped with an Obama logo. What was alarming was not so much the picture, rather the comments attached:
“OBAMA WINS COLORAO! Just rented an Enterprise van for Election Day! Going to pick up any voters pledged to Obama. I already have 53 pledged for the ride. I’ve also budgeted $1500 to distribute as $20 incentives to each rider. You can help by donating to the voting incentive militia. Just ask me how! Also we are holding an informational meeting on “how to vote twice” and “how to vote without citizenship” this Thursday at 5pm.”
My first thought was, “how stupid and brazen does one have to be to post this out in the open?” I shared it on my wall to see what kind of attention it would grab.  The person responsible for the post soon engaged in the thread and posted the following:
“Do you honestly think that anybody would be so overt about actual voter shenanigans? Big Bird is driving the van please don’t forget to investigate Sesame Street. LOL”
The more I looked into this $20 Voter Incentive Militia “campaign” the more elaborate the effort appeared to be. A Google search for “voter incentive militia” returned a website that was offline.

When it was then suggested, on the thread, that the post be reported to the authorities to investigate, the evidence started to ‘disappear.’ That’s when I thought it would be worth reporting, just to be safe. My concerns were validated five hours later when the Project Veritas story was released.  It’s been twenty-four hours since the discovery of the “$20 Voter Incentive Militia,” and the Facebook page where it originated has been deleted.
I am aware of at least four other current concerns around potential voter fraud (likely more) in the swing state of Colorado. Franklin Center’s Watchdog.org has reported on twenty-four voter-fraud stories in recent months. The allegations coming from the left that voter fraud is a conspiracy theory perpetuated by “shock jocks” is clearly false and, in my opinion, a failed attempt to discredit the urgent need for stronger voter ID laws, now.
Personality traits of a cheater often amount to the guilty party accusing another of inappropriate behavior.  This has played out online with the person responsible for the $20 Voter Incentive Militia.  It has also recently been on display when Labor Union AFL-CIO, SEIU, and Maryland Rep. Cummings declared war on True The Vote (TTV), a Houston based grassroots non-profit headed by Catherine Engelbrecht.
When the findings of TTV, a citizen-led effort to restore truth, faith, and integrity to our elections, started resulting in criminal investigations into voter fraud, partisan unions panicked and stepped out of their realm of the “fair wage fight” to coordinated efforts to terrorize those volunteering for TTV to clean up the voter rolls.  AFL-CIO and the Florida state Democrats personally threatened citizens against serving as election observers (poll watchers).  What is remarkable is that none of these left wing groups voiced any concern about the evidence of voter fraud exposed by groups like Project Veritas and True The Vote. Instead, they continue to attack them in the media and in our courts.
The verdict is not yet out on $20 Voter Incentive Militia, but it is not too late to take action. People can contact their local political party chairperson or your county clerk and recorder and ask to become an election judge or poll watcher. True The Vote can try to connect those who register on their website, just the same.  In the swing state of Colorado, two of the larger counties, Denverand Adams, are still placing calls to action for help.
It’s time to step up and take action! #TrueTheVote

VA Congressman’s Son Caught Facilitating Voter Fraud and Forgery; UPDATE: Congressman Moran’s Son Resigns

October 24, 2012 at 3:18 pm (Barack Obama, Congress, Forgery, Fraud, James O'Keefe, Jim Moran, Patrick Moran, Project Veritas, Tim Kaine, Virginia, Voter Fraud)

Congressman Jim Moran

It was just yesterday that Congressman Jim Moran of Virginia sent a letter to Eric Holder’s Department of Justice asking him to look into allegations of voter fraud.  Turns out the Congressman may want to start investigating his own son.

Patrick Moran, who also serves as Jim Moran’s campaign Field Director, has been caught in yet another revealing investigation by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas.  The younger Moran is caught in the following video clip offering advice to a reporter on how to vote 100 times in Virginia, and also offers explicit instruction on how to fabricate utility bills in order comply with Virginia’s new voter ID law.

It is the first time a sitting Congressman has been implicated in one of these stings.

From Project Veritas:

Project Veritas has released a new investigation that exposes Representative Jim Moran’s Field Director, Patrick Moran, conspiring to commit election fraud.

When approached by an undercover investigator for advice on how to steal the votes of more than 100 people, Moran advised falsifying documents to satisfy Virginia’s new voter ID law. He said, “Bank statement obviously would be tough, but they can fake a utility bill with ease.”

Moran went on to clarify that, “You’d have to forge it.”

Announcing the release, James O’Keefe said, “This is the most damning evidence to date of the scope of voter fraud in this country. Patrick Moran is not only the son of an 11-term Congressman, but is also the Field Director on his father’s re-election campaign.

“If anyone should be opposed to voter fraud it’s him. Yet he actively encouraged our investigator to forge documents and pose as a pollster to disenfranchise registered voters in Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Maryland.”

Watchdog.org provides the staggering legal ramifications of this video:

After raising legal and practical concerns, Patrick Moran, son of Virginia Democrat James Moran, encouraged the reporter to create phony utility bills that would allow others to cast multiple votes in the November 6 election.

Supporters of stronger voter ID laws seized on the video as evidence of widespread corruption among liberal get-out-the-vote organizations.

“What he’s doing is soliciting fraudulent voter registrations and fraudulent ballots, and that’s a federal crime,” said Hans von Spakovsky, senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. “Even attempting to do that is federal crime — you don’t have to go through with it. Attempting it is a crime.”

Blogger Stacey on the Right concurs that their is some illegal activity here:

“I’m pretty sure that some laws are admitted to being broken here.”

She adds that, “the allegation that there simply isn’t voter fraud and hence no need whatsoever for laws pertaining to voter ID is so disproven”.

O’Keefe adds, “Unfortunately, what Patrick Moran doesn’t respect is the integrity of our elections. He would rather win by fraud than risk seeing the political positions of his father, Barack Obama and Tim Kaine rejected by the legitimate voters of Virginia.”

Indeed, the video is quite damning for the Moran campaign, and for Virginia Democrats in general.

Update:

Patrick Moran has resigned amid the controversy.

Via TPM:

Patrick Moran, son of Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA), resigned from his father’s campaign on Wednesday after conservative activist James O’Keefe released a video that appears to show him offering advice to an undercover videographer who claimed to want to commit voter fraud.

“Effective immediately, I have resigned from the Moran for Congress campaign,” Patrick Moran said in a statement to TPM sent from his campaign email address.

Union Bosses Admit Green Jobs Program is Bulls***, Then Help Get Taxpayer Money For Business Designed Solely to Dig Holes and Fill Them Back In

July 18, 2012 at 11:32 am (Chuck Schumer, Democrat, Fraud, Government Waste, Green Jobs, Green New York, James O'Keefe, Kirsten Gillibrand, New York, Project Veritas, Republican, Taxpayer Money, Unions, Waste)

James O’Keefe has released a new video from his Project Veritas website which shows union bosses confessing that the Green Jobs, Green New York program is ‘a lot of bulls***’.

Green Jobs – Green New York is a statewide program aimed at “promoting energy efficiency and installing clean technologies to reduce energy costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions”.

The program was created under former Governor David Patterson, and was funded using money that some would consider a scam in the first place – $112 million acquired by auctioning carbon emission credits through the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI).

One union boss seen in the video below is John Hutchings, director of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) New York State Laborers’ Organizing Fund (NYSLOF).

Hutchings states:

“You know, the Green Jobs, Green New York, between us, a lot of it is bullshit… even if it’s bullshit, I think as long as people are working, that’s not bull, you know what I mean?”

Hutchings and other union members then try to demonstrate their expertise in the field of bulls*** businesses, when they try to help the individuals in the investigative video get taxpayer money for a fictitious and wholly useless business.

Here is a description of that business:

First, our excavation specialists insert their shovels into the ground and remove the soil. This presents the problem of an existing hole in the earth, creating a dangerous situation that could lead to hazards, including but not limited to tripping, falling, and bodily injuries.

Then there is the renewal process. At Earth Supply, we train professional backfillers to renew the soil in place of the existing hole, restoring the earth to its original condition.

Some folks say we’re just digging ditches and filling them back up again. But it’s about more than that. It’s about jobs.

They’ve created a business that digs holes and then fills them back in.  And when they ask local union bosses to move subsidies through legislatures for that type of company, the unions are more than willing to lend a hand.

The justification?  The fake company has created new union members.

What’s more is that these union people essentially admit to having no concern about wasting taxpayer money on the project.

One business manager for the local AFL-CIO branch compares the dead end hole-digging enterprise to a program run under FDR in the ’30s.

“They dug the roads up, put ‘em back!” says an animated Tocci.

Says Tocci, “You just wanna get the money. Then you figure out afterward.”

To pressure legislators into going along with the union scheme, the group intends to use well-placed lobbying firms that will make the claim that the fictitious company will create jobs, and provide more union laborers who will receive union benefits.  These firms will lobby both Democrat and Republican politicians, and are very tight with Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand.

Just another example of taxpayer money being wasted at the disposal of unions in New York State.

Video – Stranger Handed Attorney General Eric Holder’s Ballot to Vote

April 9, 2012 at 11:00 am (Ballot, Eric Holder, James O'Keefe, Project Veritas, Tim Tebow, Voter Fraud, Voter ID, Washington DC)

Wait, voter fraud isn’t an issue is it Mr. Holder?  This video is remarkable in that it offers obvious proof that voter ID laws are necessary.

From Breitbart.com:

In a shocking new video, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas demonstrates to the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, just why he should be concerned about lack of voter ID laws – by walking into Holder’s voting precinct and showing the world that anyone can obtain Eric Holder’s ballot. Literally.

The video shows a young man entering a Washington, DC polling place at 3401 Nebraska Avenue, NW, on primary day of this year – April 3, 2012 – and giving Holder’s name and address. The poll worker promptly offers the young man Holder’s ballot to vote.

Holder has maintained that voter fraud is not a major problem in the United States, and that voter ID would not curb voter fraud in any case.

Project Veritas has already shown how dead people can vote in New Hampshire, prompting the state senate to pass a voter ID law; they’ve shown celebrities like Tim Tebow and Tom Brady registering to vote in Minnesota, prompting the state legislature to put voter ID on the ballot as a constitutional amendment. Washington DC voting law is a federal jurisdictional area. Will the federal government take up the challenge?

Watch the video…
