Fox’s Bob Beckel Explains Why People Become Nudists: They ‘Were Gang-Banged Probably’

November 21, 2012 at 8:29 am (Bob Beckel, California, Dana Perino, Fox News, Gang-Banged, Nudists, Nudity, San Francisco, Sexual Assault, The Five)

Um… er…

I’m at a loss.  Any ideas on why Bob Beckel, co-host of The Five, would explain away nudists by assuming they “were gang-banged” or “had sexual assault on them” as children?

Beckel usually let’s fly with some real winners when he starts shooting from the hip.  It does get him into some embarrassing situations.  For instance, this episode where he had the cast and crew in stitches trying to come up with the past tense for the word ‘tweet’.  For those not willing to click on the link, the word rhymed with ‘swat’.

Anyway, here it is via Mediaite:

During a Fox News segment on the ongoing fight over whether nudists should be allowed to walk the streets of San Francisco, The Five co-host Bob Beckel gave a rather colorful explanation for why people become nudists in their adult life.

The remarks came after co-host Dana Perino asked the table: “What happened to these people as children that they don’t want to wear any clothes?”

Andrea Tantaros said the nudists are “desperate for attention.”

“Most of them were gang banged probably,” Beckel chimed in. The two-shot camera showed Perino wincing in shock.

“I don’t know,” he continued over his co-hosts’ laughter and disbelief. “They could have had sexual assault on them?”

The camera stayed on him, as his co-hosts remained silent, and an irritated Beckel seemingly pushed back against the producers talking to him from the control room…

Here’s the video…

Why Did Domestic Terrorists Meet With Occupy Albany?

April 3, 2012 at 4:39 pm (Bill Ayers, Brinks Robbery, Naomi Jaffe, New York, Occupy Albany, Occupy Wall Street, San Francisco, Sanctuary For Independent Media, Troy, Weather Underground)

The statement above could certainly be opened up to debate, but a recent gathering titled, The Weather Underground Meets Occupy Wall Street, along with a detailed report of the meeting, should certainly raise eyebrows.  The meeting, held right in the heart of Troy, New York, was being billed as a book event to celebrate U.S. “political prisoner” David Gilbert’s new memoir, Love and Struggle.

But, as revealed in a newly released video, the forum featured characters that were anything but mundane, the list reading like a veritable who’s-who of former Weather Underground activists.  Not simply low-level members, but some of the more notorious radicals in the movement, men and women with ties to the infamous Bill Ayers, individuals with ties to bombing schemes on military servicemen, and of course, convicted cop-killers.
In the video, one of the hosts of the event, Naomi Jaffe, is seen praising Kathy Boudin, a close Ayers associate, who was involved in a bomb plot gone wrong in which three Weather Underground members were killed when an explosive device they had designed to kill military personnel, prematurely detonated.  She was also convicted of felony robbery and murder for her role in the Brinks Robbery of 1981, a plot which resulted in the murder of a security guard and two police officers.
Jaffe continues to speak of the Weather Underground’s past, sharing knowledge of the group’s “resistance to an unjust system,” likening it to the “same injustices that we are seeing the Occupy movement reacting to resisting today.”  She jokes about the murderous Brinks event as being one of several necessary “expropriations”, necessary because “revolutionary work is not funded by government”.  Her radical past infused with today’s radical movement could prove quite dangerous.  Jaffe is very active in the Occupy Albany protests, and routinely downplays violence in the name of stopping oppression, and repeatedly downplays her own violent past.
The report can be read here:
Highlights include:
·        The meeting was designed to discuss common struggles between the Weather Underground and Occupy Wall Street, and in particular, the shared vision between David Gilbert, another member serving jail time for his role in the Brinks murders, and the Occupy Wall Street movement.
·         In attendance or serving on the panel were five major players in the domestic terrorism group – Naomi Jaffe, Jeff Jones, Eleanor Stein, Suzanne Ross, and Kathy Boudin.
·         All of the above named have been involved in the more radical elements of the group, including assaults on police officers, bomb plots, and murders.
·         All had been involved with the notorious Bill Ayers, some of which lived in a San Francisco ‘bomb factory’ that several entities have claimed was used in the San Francisco police station bombing that killed Officer Brian McDonnell.
·         A former Weather Underground member turned FBI informant, makes several interesting observations about the meeting, including his assertion that the group hasn’t “changed the color of any of their stripes even after all of these years.”  He also adds, “It makes me sick to watch and listen to this kind of BS, especially when I realize that 100 years ago, or less, these people would all be in prison or shot as traitors.”
Is this really a group that the Occupy movement wants to be associated with?  Are they following through with their threat to become more radical?

Only they know for sure…

Michelle Obama Tells Kids to Convince "Wrong People" to Vote For Her Husband

April 3, 2012 at 1:00 pm (Children, Family, Lollipops, Michelle Obama, President Obama, Presidential Campaign, San Francisco, Seniors, Unicorns)

What exactly does she mean by wrong people?

From the PJ Tatler:

The first lady tried to enlist “Families for Obama” at an event with tickets starting at $500 a pop at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Friday.
The pool reporter estimated that there were a couple dozen kids in the audience of about 350, and Michelle Obama spent much of her speech talking to them.
“I mean, I can’t tell you in the last election how many grandparents I ran into who said, I wasn’t going to vote for Barack Obama until my grandson talked to me, until my great-grandson talked to me, and talked about the future he wanted for this country,” she said.
“You can get out there with your parents. You guys can knock on doors. I had one young lady who brought me a petition — she’s already working. You can convince wrong people. Sometimes we don’t listen to ourselves, but we will listen to our children.”

If your five-year-old needs to convince you of some sort of previously unseen wisdom in President Obama’s policies, then you have to ask yourself two questions:  Just how brilliant can a man be who only appeals to underdeveloped minds?  And how bright can I be if I have to rely on a child to guide my decision making when voting for the future of America?

Via Breitbart News:

This is a hallmark of leftist campaigning – the notion that children possess some sort of inherent wisdom to which their elders must heed. It’s insulting and ridiculous, but it’s also the same sort of electioneering that got Obama elected the first time. But during the 2008 election cycle, President Obama hadn’t yet sold out future generations to finance his world-remaking vision. The good news for the Chicago Obamas is that many of these children’s grandparents and great-grandparents may be voting Obama – whether or not they’re alive to do so.

Isn’t it funny how two groups – children and Democrats – that both believe in fantasies and unrealistic utopias, that both believe in the land of unicorns and lollipops, would both be on a mission to get out the vote for President Obama?

Biden Tells SF Crowd That the ‘San Francisco Giants’ Are Going to the Super Bowl

January 19, 2012 at 12:18 pm (Gaffe, Joe Biden, New York, New York Giants, Rick Perry, San Francisco, San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, Super Bowl, Tim Lincecum)

Does this mean we’ll see Tim Lincecum at quarterback?

This guy misspeaks like Rosie O’Donnell eats – messy and often.

SFGate:

Vice President Joe Biden had his “oops” moment Wednesday speaking in a 49er-crazed San Francisco when he told a crowd at a city political fundraiser that “the Giants are on their way to the Super Bowl.”

Biden spoke at a closed event in the city’s financial District at the Bently Reserve when he made the gaffe, according to a White House pool report released today.

The comment by Biden drew immediate “good-natured” boos from the crowd, according to the report by Josh Richman of the Oakland Tribune, who was the only local print reporter allowed to cover the event.

After suggesting that the Giants were heading to the Super Bowl, Biden quickly recognized the gaffe and and explained he was accustomed to thinking in terms of the San Francisco Giants and their baseball wins. His next reference was to the “49ers on their way” to the Big Game.

Rick Perry says this, it’s national news.

But hey, that’s just Joe being Joe…
