Journalism Professor: Thanksgiving ‘A White Supremacist Holiday’, Founding Fathers Like Nazis

November 23, 2012 at 3:18 pm (9/11, Jeremiah Wright, Robert Jensen, Texas, Thanksgiving, White Supremacist)

This man is a professor of journalism at the University of Texas at Austin.  Would you want him teaching your kid?

Via CNS News:

Forget all that turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie, today should be a day of fasting and atonement for American “sin.” That’s according to Robert Jensen, a journalism professor at the University of Texas at Austin. Jensen, known for his hard-left politics, also calls Thanksgiving a “white-supremacist holiday.”

Jensen’s opinion piece “No Thanks for Thanksgiving,” appeared on the far-left, Soros-connected website Alternet on Thanksgiving eve. In it, he wrote how Native Americans suffered because of the “European invasion of the Americas.” He went on to compare the Founding Fathers to Nazi Germany. “How does a country deal with the fact that some of its most revered historical figures had certain moral values and political views virtually identical to Nazis?” he asked.

According to Jensen, Thanksgiving is “at the heart of U.S. myth-building. “But in the United States, this reluctance to acknowledge our original sin — the genocide of indigenous people — is of special importance today,” he explained.

Jensen, as the CNS News piece points out, has a long history of being a hysterical loon.  Three days after 9/11, he published this piece in the Houston Chronicle, basically stating the attacks on America were no more despicable than acts of terrorism committed by our own government.  It is a strikingly similar tone to the “America’s chickens have come home to roost” delirium spewed by the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Report: Teen Girl’s Breasts Accidentally Exposed by TSA, Turns Out to Be Lawmakers Grandniece

November 21, 2012 at 7:40 pm (Grandniece, Grope, Maxine Waters, Ralph Hall, Scott MacFarlane, Sundress, Texas, TSA)

I’m sure this wasn’t a horrifying experience for the girl.  But at least the TSA agent had every reason to start a pat down.  After all, the girl surely looked suspicious, what with being all of 17, wearing a strapless sundress that could have easily concealed an explosive, and of course getting on a plane with her church group.  Eye roll please.

Via Twitchy:

The TSA just gets worse and worse.

Scott MacFarlane of Cox Media reports that a TSA agent exposed a 17-year-old girl’s breasts during a pat-down at LAX. The girl is said to be the grandniece of Texas Rep. Ralph Hall.

But the agent wasn’t fired. Why? Because the TSA said it was, like, totally an “accident.”

Sure, because it’s super easy to accidentally expose a young woman’s breasts to the public during a routine pat-down. Sounds a lot like sexual abuse to us.

Since LAX is in Rep. Maxine Waters’ district, Hall asked her to submit a complaint to the TSA.

The officer “apologized.” Really. A TSA agent slipped a teenage girl’s dress off and “accidentally” exposed her breasts and is forced to … apologize? Let’s hear it for union contracts!

Twitchy offers images of the complaint in which the TSA actually blames the fact that the girl was wearing a loose-fitting dress.  Here is an example….

Here’s the thing – If you aren’t groping people, their dress won’t ‘accidentally’ fall off.

This is Democrat Nick Lampson, currently running for a congressional seat in the 14th District of Texas.

Nick is vying to replace the retiring Ron Paul.

Nick is in a tight battle with Republican opponent, state Rep. Randy Weber.

Nick likes to speak about “civility” and “working together”, citing Nancy Pelosi as an example.

Nick lectures about civility, while shoving cameras in the face of a reporter who asks questions he doesn’t like.

Nick is not very civil, is he?

Don’t be a Nick…

Obama Administration Ordering Release of Illegal Immigrants As Long As They SAY They Qualify For DREAM Act

July 27, 2012 at 7:00 am (Amnesty, Border, Border Patrol, Border Security, Chris Crane, Department of Homeland Security, DREAM Act, Homeland Security, ICE, Illegal Aliens, Illegal Immigrant, Immigration, President Obama, Texas, White House)

A recent report from the Daily Caller highlights immigration officials claims that they are being forced to release illegal immigrants if they simply say they ‘went to high school’ or ‘have a GED’, requirements that would qualify them for the President’s new amnesty by executive order plan.

This is the equivalent of a police officer walking up to a bank robber and asking the person if they robbed the bank. If the thief says no, the police must release him.

It is a blatant compromise of national security, and I would love for somebody to explain how it does not also qualify as an impeachable offense.

The fact that President Obama granted amnesty to nearly 1 million illegal immigrants via an executive order was a stunning abuse of power in and of itself.  The fact that a suspected illegal immigrant can now go free just by claiming they qualify for the President’s plan virtually extends that amnesty to many more law-breakers.  And what are the odds that those who have no respect for the law of the land in the first place would simply lie in order to be released?

An excerpt from the Daily Caller report:

A top union official for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers said Thursday that President Barack Obama’s administration has ordered ICE agents to blindly — and without any evidence — believe illegal immigrants if they claim they qualify for Obama’s administrative DREAM Act.

Chris Crane, president of the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council, explained at a press conference on Capitol Hill Thursday afternoon how the new selective immigration law enforcement policy Obama announced during a White House Rose Garden speech in June is affecting the officers he represents.

“As we still wait on detailed guidance from the administration, it’s impossible to understand the full scope of the administration’s changes, but what we’ve seen so far concerns us greatly,” Crane, said. “As one example, prosecutorial discretion for DREAMers is solely based on the individual’s claims. Our orders are: If an alien says they went to high school, then let them go. If they say they have a GED, then let them go.”

“Officers have been told that there is no burden for the alien to prove anything,” he continued. “Even with the greatly relaxed policies, the alien is not required to prove that they meet any of the new criteria.”

Under the new orders, however, illegals can escape federal charges simply by claiming — whether it’s the truth or not — that they meet the DREAM Act rule’s requirements issued by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

ICE agents have claimed the new guidelines amount to a free pass for illegal aliens.  It condones law-breaking for those who are already law-breakers.

Also mentioned at the press conference was a specific example of the new rules at work.

One example used focused on last week’s El Paso, Texas incident where an illegal alien was arrested after he physically assaulted a family member, tried to keep that person from calling police and was subsequently arrested by an ICE agent who was then assaulted by the illegal alien himself before trying to flee arresting officers. Under the new DREAM Act, this man was released without charge because he was under 30 and said he went to high school in the U.S.

McCubbin and Crane further illustrate that agents do not need any proof that illegal aliens went to high school or received a GED- their word is good enough under President Obama’s new DREAMer policy.

The man physically assaulted a family member and an agent, and was released based on the fact that he said he went to high school?

Doug Ross summarizes, “Folks, we are seeing the civil society unravel right before our eyes.”

He added, “If we don’t stop this madness in November, we may well have lost the Republic.”

Unbelievable.  It may already be lost…

Jesus Christ Arrested For Aggravated Robbery – No Seriously

June 25, 2012 at 9:55 am (Aggravated Robbery, Anthony Turner, Houston, Jesus Christ, Robbery, Texas)

A jailhouse in Houston, Texas had a very unusual booking this past week – Jesus Christ himself was charged with aggravated robbery for brandishing a gun whilst cleaning out another man’s pockets.

Apparently, the Commandment, thou shalt not steal, wasn’t adhered to in this case.

From KHOU in Houston:

The jailhouse had an unexpected visitor this week: Jesus Christ was arrested for aggravated robbery.

Jesus Christ Anthony Turner, that is.

Turner, a 27-year-old Houston man with a highly unusual moniker, was arrested Monday in connection with a robbery on June 16, 2012.

According to court documents, Turner was armed with a gun when he robbed another man.

Charges were filed Tuesday, and Turner was still being held Thursday without bond.

Why do I get the feeling that he just officially changed his name after hearing his mother constantly referring to him as “Jesus Christ Anthony Turner” over the years?

Video Evidence of the President as Apologizer-In-Chief

March 9, 2012 at 8:33 am (Apology, Congress, Contraceptives, Heathcare Mandate, House, Louie Gohmert, Obamacare, President Obama, Religious Freedom, Rush Limbaugh, Sandra Fluke, Special Order, Texas)

We mentioned recently how the President had shamed himself yet again by offering apologies on behalf of the United States for the military rightfully burning desecrated Korans, but refused to demand an apology for the murder of our men and women over the same incident.

Now, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) has put together a video presentation of the Apologizer-in-Chief in action.  It’s worth taking a look to see that the President apologizes only when it suits him politically.

Here’s the video description:

Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01) spoke on the House floor about the numerous frivolous and harmful apologies President Obama has made on behalf of the United States, while disregarding or even refusing to acknowledge some of the most important current events.

Illegal Immigrant Running For President of Texas A&M Student Body

February 28, 2012 at 11:53 pm (Aggie, Illegal Immigrant, Immigration, Jose Luis Zelaya, Laws, Texas, Texas A and M, United States)

Don’t worry, he’s not illegal in his own mind.  He’s simply undocumented.

Via Chron.com:

Jose Luis Zelaya sat at a long table in front of a packed auditorium on the Texas A&M campus Thursday night, steadying his nerves for his second student body presidential debate.
The previous debate was carefully controlled, with a moderator asking each candidate the same question. But this time, he and the five other candidates would take questions submitted by fellow students.
One by one, the candidates expounded on a range of issues, including tuition, fees and student services. And then, toward the end of the debate, Zelaya got the question he dreaded most: How would his legal status play a role if he was elected president? It was an issue that none of his fellow candidates had raised during the campaign, despite knowing he was undocumented.

Okay, when the question you dread most is ‘hey, why are you currently breaking the law?’ then you shouldn’t be running for anything.  Ever.

It continues:

“I’m not running because I’m undocumented. I’m running because I’m an Aggie,” he said. “It’s just like, what if I was gay? Would they have asked me if being gay was going to play a role? If I was atheist, would they ask me those things? What does it take to be seen as a regular Aggie, not as an undocumented Aggie?”
That Zelaya is an illegal immigrant is no secret.

Actually, it’s not like that at all.  And there’s one simple reason for that.  Being gay or being an atheist is not illegal.

What does it take to be seen as a regular Aggie?  How about becoming a legal Aggie?
