Proof in a Single Sentence That Guns Don’t Kill People, Gun Control Kills People

August 8, 2012 at 11:51 am (Butter Knife, Gun Control, Satwant Singh Kaleka, Second Amendment, Shooting, Sikh Temple, Wade Page, Wisconsin)

If ever there were a more descriptive sentence on the issue of gun control, and why curbing Second Amendment rights only serves to hurt or even kill law-abiding citizens, I have yet to see it.

Tucked away in a Huffington Post article about the motivation behind the horrific shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, is this statement (h/t Ben Howe):

“The dead included temple President Satwant Singh Kaleka, who was shot as he tried to fend off the shooter with a butter knife.

Perhaps as Boortz said in regards to the Aurora shooting:

Too bad there wasn’t someone at that theatre with a concealed carry permit. How many lives could have been saved? — Neal Boortz (@Talkmaster)
