Video: Kids Sing ‘God Bless the USA’, Libs Promptly Heckle Them, Tell Them to "Burn In Hell"

Recently, the principal at PS 90 in New York City made headlines when she deemed the patriotic ballad “God Bless the USA” too controversial for her kindergarten classes to sing during a graduation ceremony.  Some parents at the school decided to respond by holding a rather patriotic ceremony of their own, organizing for the children to sing the song on the school playground.

That’s when the protesters showed up and gave the kids a lesson in how not to act in public if you’re over the age of five.

The crux of the problem seems to be that the protesters disliked that the rally had a political flavor.  True, Rep. Bob Turner (R-NY) was in attendance for the musical celebration, and he is running for the U.S. Senate seat against Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand – but he was invited by the parents.

The libs, as they often do, ignored that fact, misplaced their anger, and a chaotic scene broke out.

From Fox News Radio (h/t Todd Starnes):

“I thought it would be a great idea,” Turner said. “The kids were a delight.”

According to video of the incident, boys and girls were waving American flags and singing “God Bless the USA” when adults began swarming and shouting.

They were shouting down the kids as they were singing,” Turner told Fox News Radio. “This was really bad form.”

The website Politicker transcribed some of the protest.

“You Republicans come go to a Republican area and do that, we don’t do that here,” one of the hecklers said. “This is ridiculous, this is sad. This is so crazy. This is sad.”

You don’t do what here?  Support your country?  Sing songs?  What don’t you do that only Republicans do?  Express patriotism?  Attend school?

And what exactly is ridiculous and sad here?  Kids singing a song that professes their love of country?  What’s sad is that anybody considers what the children and parents were doing as sad.

The report continues…

A Turner staffer can be heard off camera asking the protesters to stop – and to “let the kids sing.”

“The kids don’t even know what they’re singing,” the unidentified protester replied. “They got something you tell them to say. It’s ridiculous. It’s sad, sad, sad. You all are going to burn in hell. You all burn in hell. Shame on you. Shame on you.”

At one point, a tattooed protester cursed.

Let’s get this straight – you dislike pro-American songs, and you want children, their parents, and Republicans in general to burn in hell.  I wonder what would happen if you said these things in a country that doesn’t allow freedom of speech you ignorant dolts.

Whatever one might feel about Turner’s presence at the event, nobody with an IQ that reaches triple digits should ever express their disdain by shouting, telling people to burn in hell, and cursing in front of children.

Stay classy…
